COVID-19 and our classes:
At Canine Health Canada, safety comes first.
Canine Health Canada is known for its first aid and safety programs, and we are extremely mindful of the COVID-19 virus and are watching updates as they come out.
Based on the recommendations of our Health Officials, in-person classes have begun in some areas, dependent on provincial and state government regulations for gatherings
Classes are kept small and held in areas where social distancing can be observed.
Our Trainers will have strict hand-washing protocols in place at different intervals throughout the courses, have sanitized all teaching materials, and re-sanitize throughout the course.
The Trainer and all students will be expected to bring a mask, buff, scarf or similar cover-up in the event that assistance is needed for students, requiring closer contact.
For those of you in areas where gatherings of any size are still not permitted, or those who still don't feel comfortable with in-person learning, we have two options for training classes via LIVE INTERACTIVE VIDEO! You can still learn and interact and practice what you need to know in case of an emergency involving your dog.
We have also created a fund called Feeding the Furries, where a portion of all class proceeds are set aside for animal owners who are struggling to feed their pets during times of crisis. We are here to help.
We will continue to diligently monitor the situation and look forward to teaching you safely.
This is about working together to keep our people healthy, and mitigate the spread of the COVID-19.
